Dear JAE,
Last summer you and I were inseparable. Then that Antonello Tedde clutch came along and you stuffed me with tissue and put me on a shelf. I see why you like the other clutch, but I am the original neutral. I go with everything and I hold your wallet, phone and big sunglasses. Don’t let the season pass without taking me out for a spin.
Your sad and neglected clutch,
Cork
After my 100th time reading “The Day the Crayons Quit” by Drew Daywalt to my son at bedtime, I step into my closet and find this note from my cork clutch. I am so happy to rediscover an old favorite and start planning outfits. It is true that my Antonello Tedde clutch has been in favored status and even got to travel to Paris, but my cork clutch is a versatile powerhouse. I am considering a second Antonello Tedde in black and white.
I first styled the cork clutch with a new camo t-shirt (it’s under $20), white denim and these rose gold shoes. This is truly a high/low outfit. I love the soft green of the camo and the detail on the hem.
Next I took it for a spin with my new favorite shirt (I am likely to get notes from other shirts any day now).

Here is the clutch with my favorite new shirt the other night. I love the shirt so much I am considering it in black as well. These cork shoes are an older style, but I love these and these.
Happy Styling!
XO,
JAE
P.S. Don’t play favorites (I know it’s hard).
