There are a couple of things besides my regular mediation practice that bring me instant calm and grounding. The first is a good blow dry. When my hair is in place everything around me can be in chaos and I definitely handle it better. The second is an iced latte with homemade almond milk. I was recently in San Diego for a few days of fun with a childhood friend. While it was a great visit, I have been traveling a lot lately and I definitely needed help with grounding. I made regular visits to my favorite Lofty Coffee for their delicious almond milk iced latte as well their perfectly cooked eggs and avocado.
