“You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave.” Well I would never want to leave the beautiful Hotel Californian. My husband and I checked out this new hotel when we had a quick getaway to Santa Barbara to celebrate 10 year anniversary. It is gorgeous. They just had their grand opening party last night. I still can’t get over all the changes to lower State Street since I was in college at UCSB only a few years ago. Back then there was very little going on lower State Street except a few dive bars. This is the latest addition. I love all the black and white tile.
