Trifecta

This itsy bitsy daisy print is screaming for a pattern mix.  Enter my Antonello Tedde clutch and striped espadrilles and we have a perfect pattern trifecta.  If only I had gotten a trifecta while visiting Del Mar when I shot these photos.  For now, I will stick to pattern mixing and leave the gambling to others. Del Mar is a beautiful spot to watch the races.

Flower Guy at Flower Child

I am not usually a fan of floral patterns, but there is something about The Flower Guy, Michael De Feo’s, work that is architectural.  I bought all three of the designs he did in a collaboration (more on that here) with J. Crew.  I recently took my Flower Guy teeto lunch with my mom at Flower Child.

I styled it with a J. Crew cashmere cardigan, J. Crew Lookout jeans, J. Crew Piper sunglasses, New Balance for J. Crew kicks and a Legend of Lido clutch.

The same tee was featured in Blue Daisy.  I styled the others in the collection in Day and Night Stripes and Tulips in the Kitchen.  All three t-shirts were featured in Blooming in Blue

Seeing Stars

My son can’t stop singing “City of Stars” after watching the Oscars, so I have stars on the brain.  These star print jeans from J. Crew are a great way to add a little dimension to a neutral look.  Just like my other J. Crew Western Chambray shirt (that is on sale), my new one in Vintage Indigo is already on heavy rotation.  It has the perfect amount of stretch and I love the snaps.  I completed the look with backless loafers (J. Crew Charlie Slides), J. Crew Piper sunglasses, a Legends of Lido Clutch and an Hermes scarf.

Peace, Love and Denim

My love of denim and chambray is no secret.  I have lost count of the number of times I have worn my J. Crew Western Chambray shirt that I bought two years ago (and it still looks great).  J. Crew just came out with a new Western Chambray Shirt with snaps in a vintage indigo wash and I knew immediately it was a must have.  I also picked up another pair of Lookout high rise jeans.  I doubled down on denim for lunch with my mom at Flower Child in Del Mar.  I love the bright decor and the menu options make it easy for me to stick to my new regime.

I styled my new denim pieces with fringe boots by Maison de Talons, J. Crew Jane sunglasses, a J. Crew monogrammed pouch and a J. Crew bandana in a Drake’s print.

Here are three more looks with my other Western Chambray Shirt (which is on sale!) : Denim on Denim, Falling into Neutral, and Beam Me Up.
