I was surprised at how much I loved this bright pink when I went for it two weeks ago for Mani Friday – Pink Daisy Edition. It felt surprisingly neutral, especially with all the J. Crew pink I have been wearing. This week I decided it was the perfect end of summer color with a blue eyed wink.

I am savoring the last weeks of summer with beach getaways and a bikini mani. The summer flew by and I am glad we spent a lot of in both the ocean and pools. We still plan to get some more beach time in before school starts. I am beach ready with my mani, for sure.

This week Olive & June announced the August OJColorCrush, “Sun Bleached” by CND Vinylux. It is one of my favorite colors that I featured in Mani Friday – Bee Edition and my first Mani Friday post, Mani Friday – Pineapple Edition.
I decided to try my first half moon mani after doing triangle half moons a couple of weeks ago in Mani Friday – Triangle Half Moon Edition. I love the gold with the yellow. It feels like golden sunshine on my hands. CND Vinylux also wears really well.

My maternal Grandmother B, who I wrote about in this post, would have turned 105 on Sunday. She lived one day shy of 100 years and is still a daily inspiration. Her name was B, she loved bees and she definitely buzzed around with infectious and authentic energy.
