I have been known to bathe in stripes (see last week here). This look is actually light on stripes. I love this “Sunbathers” t-shirt by Virginie Morgand. It is perfect for spring and summer and it’s fun to mix off-white with white. It is also the perfect warm up for National Stripes Day, tomorrow, March 31st. There are quite a few graphic t-shirts I have my eye on including this, this and this. They are so easy to style with a blazer or jean jacket and they meet my comfort criteria.
I styled the t-shirt with white denim, a denim jacket, sandals and my favorite striped clutch.

Is it really Spring? The calendar says so. In typical spring fashion the weather is a bit confused. After some much needed and refreshing rain in Los Angeles the sun came out. I love how much more I appreciate it after a few days of rain and clouds. There is a chilly breeze in the air. I am heading east soon and I will wait to pack until right before and be prepared for a variety of weather.
This week’s mani is a new take on stripes and also moves into spring with lavender, but still has a foot in winter. It’s the second annual National Stripes Day Later this week. A holiday near and dear to my stripes loving heart that was created by J. Crew. Check out their contest. Check out my Stripes- Greatest Hits and this mani (which is in my top 5 favorite manis). Of course, my family and I wear stripes all year long. I can’t wait to see everyone’s contest posts on Instagram later this week.
The manicure and nail art are by Olive & June. The color is “Style in Excess” by Essie Gel Couture.

My husband and I celebrated our ninth wedding anniversary earlier this week. We got away for one night to Santa Barbara where we were engaged and married. We had perfect weather just like we did nine years ago.
I styled my “Hello, Sailor” Tee (a gift from J. Crew for National Stripes Day), with slim boyfriend jeans, Piper Sunglasses, New Balance kicks and a striped clutch.

I am coming up on a year of blogging and I have lost count of the number of posts that included stripes. As it says in my Instagram profile, I am a lover of stripes. There always seems to be one more striped shirt that is a need rather than a want. I use stripes as a neutral often with other patterns. Here are twenty-four of my favorite looks with stripes. For a look back at these posts see the links below. The items are linked in the posts.
One more day until J. Crew’s new holiday, National Stripes Day. This may be my favorite new holiday.
