Mani Monday – Skeleton Edition

“Let’s give him a hat and a cane and make him dance.” said my seven year old son in his second grade art class.  “Did you still want to add a dog?”  “No, that would be mean to Cupcake.”  I smiled and was touched by his consideration for our Puggle.  He proceeded to show me how to blend the clay and I was so impressed with his skeleton (in the bottom right corner) that it inspired my Halloween mani.  I look forward to trick or treating in the neighborhood with my Astronaut.

The manicure and nail art are by Olive & June.  The colors is “Off Duty Style” by Essie Gel Couture (my new favorite polish that wears like gel, but is not gel).

Items in the photos include:

Zadig & Voltaire Skull Scarf

Clare V Green leopard print Pouch

Clare V Striped “Oui” Long Sleeve Tee

Cult Gaia Ark Bag in Black

J. Crew Shoes

Zadig & Voltaire Hooded Cardigan

Mani Monday – Doughnut Edition

This year for our family Halloween costume we are going as doughnuts.  My son and I saw the costumes over a month ago and were both very excited.  I am so happy that he is still into the idea of a family costume.

The color is “Gotcha” by CND Vinylux.  The nail art and manicure are by Olive & June.

Happy Halloween!

XO,

JAE

Boo!

Raspberry and pumpkins are an unlikely combination, but I love pink and orange together.  I wore my favorite new raspberry coat from J. Crew to a mini pumpkin patch where we picked up a few pumpkins the other day.  How cute is the window at Hudson Grace?  We are excited for Halloween and my son is still into the family costume idea.
