Camo Obsession

I will never tire of camo.  It’s as neutral as leopard print for me.   I wish I could fit into this crewcuts blazer I just picked for my son.  I have a lot of friends that can wear a boys size 14 or 16, so if you are smaller, go for it.  It’s a great blazer.

In the meantime my son looks great in his and I have my own light weight army jacket in blue.

Arking into to Fall

Welcome Fall!  I am easing into fall while the temperatures are still a bit warm with camo, bell sleeves and my favorite ark bag that was on repeat all Summer.  Not only do I love the look of this bag (which is back in stock, by the way), but it holds a lot and has proven to be very practical.  I may need to add this tortoise shell one and this shape (that packs flat) to my collection.

Mani Friday – Blue Camo Edition

My six year old loves camouflage, especially shorts and pants and not just the typical green, but blues as well.  He has worn various versions of the pants and shorts for about two years.  He likes to do his own pattern mixing with stripes and other colors.  Every week he makes suggestions for my nail art that usually revolve around cars.  It is rare that he is that happy with my choice.  He really liked this week’s blue camo nail art.  He also asked me if I was trying to have my nails blend in with my clothes.  I will say the camo is forgiving with the dreaded and inevitable chip.

The main color is my favorite “Creekside” by Vinylux combined with “Indigo Frock” and “Water Park” also by Vinylux.  The nail art and manicure are by Olive & June.

Happy Friday!

JAE
